Bronson, Whitener Win Late Model Twins At East Bay

Kyle Bronson and Mark Whitener split the victories in twin 25-lap Late Model features last week at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, FL.

In the first feature, Bronson scored the win ahead of Kenny Monahan in second, Roger Crouse in third, Mark Whitener in fourth and David Pollen, Jr. in fifth.

In the second feature, Whitener beat out David Schmauss for the win, with Doug Horton in third, Bronson in fourth and Bryan Bernhardt in fifth.

In other action, Dorsey Strickland won the Micro Sprint feature, with Matt Wedgewood in second, Paul Seburn in third, Joe Bartow in fourth and Terry Hattan in fifth.

Gene Lasker picked up his first East Bay Sprints feature win of the year, with Tony Agin, Andrew Griffin, Kerry Gilbert and Dylan Colding rounding out the top five.

George Handy was the winner in the 4 Cylinder Bombers feature. Jeff Lacey finished in second, with Bailey Purcell third, Darrell Taylor in fourth and Kayla Jones in fifth
