Devin Dixon held off a stout field to score the victory in the 50-lap Donnie Tanner Memorial Race Late Model feature Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, FL.
Dixon held off Bryan Bernhardt to score the win in the second race in the Donnie Tanner Memorial. Mark Whitener finished in third, with Kyle Bronson in fourth and Phillip Cobb in fifth.
Jeff Matthews, Kenny Monahan, David Pollen, Jr., Kyle Musselman and Dave Schmauss rounded out the top ten.
In other action, Tim Gay scored his seventh Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks feature. Thomas Burnside finished in second, with Buck Woodhouse third, Taylor Gant fourth and Matt Bozeman fifth.
D.J. Peeples picked up his very first feature win in a Sprint car with a victory in the East Bay Sprints race. Dylan Colding came home in second, with David Kelley in third, Kerry Gilbert in fourth and Andrew Griffin in fifth.
In the V8 Warrior feature, Mike Wilson picked up the win with Nicholas Schneider, Jeremy Simpson, Jody Robbins and Doug Morris rounded out the top five.
Action continues Saturday, June 20, as Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds battle for 50-laps in Larry Miller Memorial. Also racing will be the Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks, Foster’s Auto Truck Outlaw Fours and the Florida Old Time Modifieds. For more information, visit EastBayRacewayPark.com.
