Christopher Tullis made the trip from Dacula, GA south to Cordele, GA worth it, as he scored his first Outlaw Late Model victory for the Georgia For Fair Tax Series Saturday night at Watermelon Capital Speedway.
Stuart Dutton led the first 13 laps before the caution flew for a detonated engine by Cody Hale. Back under green, Dutton and Hale continued their battle.
On a restart, Tullis and Dutton made contact, with Tullis moving away with the lead and would continue on to score the win. Kyle McCallum would make his way to second, with Dutton finishing in third.
In other action, Dusty Stafford held off Michael Hutto to pick up the Enduro feature victory. John Burke finished in third, with Carlton Israel in fourth and Wesley in fifth.
Billy Nipper topped the Super Street field to score the feature win, with Cody Hale, Larry Walker, Jusitn Duckworth and Brian Duckworth rounding out the top five.
Karston Thomas was the winner in the Flathead Go Kart feature. C.R. Brackett finished second, followed by Jeremy Moore in third, Chuck Pittman in fourth and Eric Bloodworth in fifth.
Doug Sannerman scored the win in the Economy Go Kart feature, with Scott Stroupe in second, Jessie James in third, Rue Walden in fourth and Rodney Walden in fifth.
