On a night that saw the grand opening of the newly rechristened Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, GA, Clayton Turner beat a strong field of competitors to score the win in the Limited Late Model feature on the first points paying weekend of the season.
Turner outdistanced David McCoy around the historic 3/8 mile clay speedway to make the trip to Toccoa’s victory lane. Charlie Parker finished in third, with Drew Collins in fourth and Ronald Woods in fifth.
McCoy made his own trip to victory lane by picking up the win in the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature. Adam Smith rolled home in second, with Steve “Hot Rod” LaMance in third, Parker Herring in fourth and Ricky Smith in fifth.
In other action, George Reece beat out Nick Sellers to score the Hobby Stock feature. Brandon Stroud finished third, followed by Mart Patterson in fourth and Chris Patterson in fifth.
Justin Sims was the winner in the Modified Street feature, with Robbie Campbell, Keith Baker, Jason Lewallen and Cameron Collett rounding out the top five.
Jackie Holden topped the field in the Stock 4 Cylinder feature. Harley Holden ran second, followed by Ryan Boles in third, Brandon Elliott in fourth and Terry Calhoun in fifth.
Holden doubled up on the night by winning the Front Wheel Drive feature. Robbie Cook finished second, with Daniel Reynolds third, Wayne Chapman fourth and Lisa Calhoun in fifth.
Brett Sullivan scored the win in the Stock 8 feature, with Tripp Griffin in second and George Fortson in third.
Jessica Still was the winner in the Rookie 4 Cylinder race, followed by Matthew Furgerson in second.
