Danny Martin, Jr. powered to the lead, and scored the win in the 25 lap Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprints feature Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, FL.
Martin, Jr., the defending series champion, also picked up the $200 Barfield Sweep for winning the race and his heat race.
Matt Kurtz finished in second, with Hayden Campbell third, A.J. Maddox in fourth and Gene Lasker in fifth.
In other action, Raymond Vann won his first V8 Warriors feature of 2015 after taking over the lead on lap four. Jeremy Simpson finished second, followed by Nicholas Schneider in third, James Paes in fourth and Randy Tyler in fifth.
Foster’s Auto Truck Outlaw Fours defending champion Brandon Yates picked up the feature victory. Nick Hebrank ran second, followed by Mark Moniz in third, Stephen Hohlbaugh in fourth and Eric Knight in fifth.
In the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds feature, Bill Howard, Sr. crossed the finish line first, but the win was disallowed in post race tech for a muffler violation. That gave Travis Varnadore the win with Roger Crouse second and Mavrick Varnadore third. Steve Miller and Nate Bregenzer rounded out the top five.
In the final feature of the night it was the Florida Old Time Modifieds with Jamie Frankland was the winner in the Florida Old Time Modifieds feature. Tom McDonald finished in second, with Roger Herbach third, Mark Steve fourth and Dan Darnell fifth.
