JEFFERSON, GA – Casey Roderick topped the speed charts in the final rounds of practice for Saturday afternoon for the World Crown 300 at Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, GA, which is slated to roll off Saturday night.
The Lawrenceville, GA, driver toured the high-banked half mile with a best overall lap at 16.893 seconds, 113.586 MPH.
Vermont driver Brian Hoar continues to impress in his first visit to the Jefferson speed plant, as he turned the second fastest lap overall in 16.933 seconds, 113.317 MPH. Jeff Choquette, who paced Thursday’s opening practice round, was third fastest overall with a lap at 16.937 seconds, 113.29 MPH.
Weeki Wachee,FL wheelman Daniel Keene, Jr. was fourth fastest with a lap at 16.948 seconds, 113.217 MPH, with Stephen Nasse timing in fifth fastest at 16.971 seconds, 113.063 MPH.
Donnie Wilson, Daniel Hemric, Harrison Burton, Dennis Schoenfeld and Bubba Pollard rounded out the top five.
In all, 26 took time in Saturday’s practice session.
Qualifying for the 31st annual World Crown 300 is set to roll of at 5:30 pm Saturday afternoon, with racing set to begin at 7:15 pm.
