TAMPA, FL – Richard Livernois, Jr. picked up his very first career Limited Late Model feature win at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL Saturday night after passing Forrest Gough on lap seven and holding off Henry Burnside and Ricky Land at the end of the 20 lap event.
In the 15-lap V8 Warriors feature, Tommy Hill crossed the finish line first but was disqualified in tech for an illegal carburetor, giving Raymond Vann back to back feature wins over hard charging Mike Wilson and Jeremy Simpson.
In the 20-lap East Bay Sprints, defending Champ Billy Boyd, Jr. would go for it all trying to pick extra money by starting in the rear of the feature. But it would be Tim George holding off Boyd, Jr. making his way up to second when the checkered flag waved.
In the 15-lap Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Street Stocks feature, Tim Gay made it six for six as he has won each time he has started this year. Tim had five previous wins behind the wheel of a different car and winning his sixth driving a borrowed car. Gay was able to hold off Buck Woodhouse and Thomas Burnside, who are the top two in points.
In the final event of the night, a 15-lap Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bomber feature, defending champ John Moore claimed his sixth feature win of the year as he took over the lead on lap two and held off Jeff Lacey and Patrick Fiore, Sr.
