Whenever and wherever the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS pulls in for an event, a familiar white No. 20 can never be counted out of any race anywhere at any time. 34-year-old Brian Campbell showed once again why he’s one of the top competitors in the country when he and his KBR Development Team make the trip to any event as the West Michigan veteran took the race lead from Ross Kenseth on lap 80 of the ARCA/CRA portion of the ‘Racing’s Back!’ Memphis 125 and never looked back en route to victory in the first ever caution free event in the series’ 17-year history.

For the first time since the 2009 season, the ¾ mile semi-banked paved tri-oval of Memphis International Raceway, located in Millington, TN hosted short track stock car racing from the ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Models took over.

After taking the lead from Anderson Bowen on lap five, Kenseth checked out from the rest of the field and would lead the next 74 laps before Campbell reeled him in, took over the point and from there, it was all Campbell in his #20 KBR Development / Ford who would pick up his 12th career ARCA/CRA Super Series win to move to within two victories of the coveted top five all-time in the wins column as fifth place is currently being held by 2005 Series Champion, Jeff Lane, who has 14 career triumphs.

“The car was just ‘bad fast’ today,” said Campbell. “I know our qualifying effort really didn’t show that. So we just worked hard, picked cars off when we could. After halfway, we just stepped up our plan and it all worked out. I sincerely appreciate everyone on this KBR Team for all of the hard work they put into this program. We haven’t had the season we wanted to have this year, but we did pick up some wins here late in the year and we’ll be right there running hard in 2014.”

Leading a race high 75 laps before coming home in second place was Kenseth. Derrick Griffin would complete the podium finishers with a third place finish.

Donnie Wilson would finish in fourth, as he finished ahead of Eddie Hoffman in fifth.

Anderson Bowen, Willie Allen, Jake Griffin, Andrew Morrissey and Griffin McGrath rounded out the top 10.
