Dave Garbo, Jr. held off Blake Jones to score the victory Saturday night in the 37th annual Bobby Isaac Memorial at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, NC.
Jeremy Sorel would lead the 31 car field to the green flag with Mike Darne starting second. Darne would lead the first lap, but it wouldn’t take Sorel long to find his way to the front. The first caution would wave on lap six when Matt Piercy and Annabeth Barnes would make contact, collecting Dillon Houser. All cars involved would continue and restart at the rear of the field.
By lap 15, Austin McDaniel would move into the lead, followed by Blake Jones and the Darne. On lap 49, Taylor Stricklin and Jake Keaton would get together to bring out another caution. Ronnie Bassett Jr. would take advantage of the caution to bring his car to the pits for adjustments.
On lap 65, Shane Lee and Reid Lanpher made contact, collecting several cars and ending the night for Lanpher and Piercy. On lap 109 Dillon Bassett and Ashley Huffman got together, but both drivers would regain control of their cars and continue battling for position. Ben Rhodes would slow on lap 116 to bring out the next caution with damage from an earlier incident.
On the restart several cars would bunch up causing Will Gallaher to go around. Caution would wave again on lap 134 when Rafael Vallina, and Brayton Haws made contact in turn 2. McDaniel and David Garbo would resume the battle for the lead. Garbo, Jr. would eventually take the top spot.
The final caution of the night would come out on lap 146 when Lee cut down a left front tire and came to a stop in turn 4. Garbo, Jr. would lead the field to the final green flag, and would go on to take the checkered flag ahead of Blake Jones, Jeremy Sorel, Brodie Kostecki and Josh Berry.

In other action, the first feature of the night would be the Paramount KIA Limited Late Models for their 50 lap feature. Jeremy Pelfrey started on the pole, with Kyle Mansch alongside. Pelfrey would lead early with Travis Byrd following closely. On lap 24 Ben Ebeling spun on the backstretch. On the restart Allen Huffman would have problems and several cars stacked up behind him. On lap 29 Kenneth Pardue went around in turns one and two to bring out the second caution of the night. On the restart Monty Cox and Sheflon Clay got together going into turn two, putting them both to the back of the field. At the restart it would be three wide as the competitors were working to improve their position as the laps wound down. On lap 36 the caution would fly again when Mitch Walkers spun on the backstretch.
Caution would fly again on lap 40 for debris on the racetrack. On lap 42 there would be contact entering turn one with Landon Huffman receiving substantial damage to his car and collecting several others, including Nicholas Wilt. When the checkered flag flew, it would be Pelfrey scoring the win, with Shane Lee second, Byrd third, Mansch fourth, and Evan Duggins in fifth.
Kevin Eby would claim the pole for the Street Stock event followed by Marshall Sutton. Eby and Sutton would race side by side for several laps until Sutton took the lead on lap four. On lap 10, Eby moved ahead of Sutton for the lead. On lap 16, Kim Smith had mechanical problems and would stall on the back stretch to bring out the caution. On the restart Eby maintained the lead leaving Sutton Mark Whitten to battle behind him. The #14 of Sam Thompson retired for the night on lap 20.
Meanwhile, Baron Kuritsky was charging to the front. Jonathon Smith began battling for second position with Kuritzky. Meanwhile up front, Eby scampered away for the win, followed by Kuritzky, Smith, Whitten and Sutton.
The Sportsman Racing Classic was the last event for the night Don Fenn leading the field to the green flag followed by Jeff Melton. Melton would take the early lead. On lap two Fenn and Steve Davis would make contact coming out of turn four. Larry Benz would move into the lead while Fenn, Davis and Bryan Thomas raced for second. Davis would take the lead on lap six with Fenn in hot pursuit. Fenn would move past Davis for the lead and take the victory. Davis finished second, with Bob Hapeman third, Benz fourth, and Bill Webb in fifth.
