Persistent rains in Sparta, KY led to the postponement of Saturday night’s Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.
The race is now scheduled to begin Sunday at noon. The race will be broadcast on TNT.
It marks the first race to be postponed since the Daytona 500 in 2012.
Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will start on the pole for Sunday’s race, with Carl Edwards rolling off alongside. Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Marcos Ambrose, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Newman, Brad Keselowski, Brian Vickers and Juan Pablo Montoya will make up the top ten starters.
