David Garbo, Jr. Tops Late Model Field For Hickory Win

For David Garbo, Jr., there was no looking back on Saturday night, as the Storington, CT driver put his car at the front of the field, and drove away to score the Late Model feature victory at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, NC.

Garbo, Jr. outdistanced El Paso, TX driver C.J. Hulsey, who came home in second. Grant Wimbish finished in third, with Jesse LeFevers in fourth, and Shane Lee in fifth.

Matt Piercy, Zachary Bruenger, David Roberts, Justin Crider, and Justin Carroll rounded out the top 10.

In other action, Shane Lee picked up the win in the Limited Late Model feature. Landon Huffman crossed the line in second, with Kaleb Pressley in third, Jeremy Pelfrey in fourth, and Monty Cox in fifth.

Kenneth Roberts was the winner in the Renegade feature. Gregory Austin, Carroll McKinney, Eddie Russ, and Darren Dickinson rounded out the top five.

In Street Stocks action, Kevin Townsend scored the Street Stocks victory, with Kevin Eby in second, Mark Whitten in third, Marshall Sutton in third, and Jonathan Smith in fifth.

Robert Hapeman won the Classic Sportsman feature. Don Fenn came home in second, with Charles Thorne third, Steve Davis fourth, and Todd McDaniel fifth.
