Anthony Anders made the trip from Easley, SC to Kingsport, TN on Friday, and made the trip pay off, as he scored the Late Model feature victory at Kingsport Speedway.
Anders topped the field in the 60-lap feature, as he beat out Adam Long for the win. Daniel Pope II came home in third, with Hayden Woods in fourth, and Blake Jones in fifth.
Chad Finchum, Kres VanDyke, Zeke Shell, Tyler Goodwin and Ryan Stiltner rounded out the top ten.
It would be the start of a successful weekend for Anders, who would go on Saturday night to sweep the Late Model double features at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.
In other action, Nick Cole topped the field for the win in the 30-lap Street Stock feature. John Harrell finished second, with Rob Austin in third, Chris Tunnell in fourth, and Tony Vance in fifth.
John Ketron crossed under the checkered flag to pick up the Pure 4 victory. Jimmy Hillard came across in second, with Keith Helton finishing third, Kenny Absher in fourth, and Chris Neeley in fifth.
In Legends action, Jacob Owens was first across the finish line to score the win. Dereck Lane, Hubert Whitehead, and Trey Lane rounded out the top four.
Brandon Sutherland scored the victory in the Rookie Pure 4 feature. Billy Byington finished second, with Brandon Byington in third, Bruce Crumley in fourth, and Mook Jeter in fifth.
