After being rained out on New Year’s Day, Dillon Motor Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Dillon, SC, ran the third annual New Year’s 300 on Saturday afternoon.
Gary Ledbetter beat out a field of 31 cars to score the Street Stock feature victory to cap off the night. Ledbetter pocketed a $2,000 pay day for his efforts. Wayne Locklair finished second with Danny Brewer in third. Sonny Schoffen finished fourth, while Jimmy Silvia ran fifth.
Charles Hutto, Brian Thomas, Ricky Locklair, Ricky Locklair Jr., and Ron Flynn rounded out the top ten.
Art Chambers finished 14th in the Street Stock feature but won a GM 602 crate motor courtesy of Raceway Automotive.
In other action, Kevin Jackson walked away with $1,000 for winning the 4-Cylinder Mini Stock Mayhem feature. Michael Wells finished second, with Bobby Tumbleston in third, AJ Sanders in fourth, and Greg Brew in fifth.
Alex Fleming collected $500 for winning the UCAR Clash. Robert Arch came home second, with Patrick Arch third, Mark Dean fourth, and Todd Langdon fifth.
Michael Elliott topped the field for the win in the Chargers feature. Bryan Owens finished in the runner up spot. William Haynie finished third, with Mike Watts in fourth and Neil Anderson in fifth.
Matt Corbett won the Mini Cup Stocks main event. Chris Connor crossed the line in second, followed by Jessica Poland in third, Justin Hicks in fourth, and Bill Willis in fifth.
Brandon McKenzie won in the Legends feature. Grayson Massery finished second, with Billy Hall, Austin Osborne, and Paton Rhyne rounding out the top five.
