5:46 – Unfortunately, PASS Officials have informed us that we have to shut down our SpeedBlog.  So, unfortunately, we’re stuck.  Sorry folks. Check with us later on the results from the race.  Thanks for being with us tonight.  See you soon.

5:25 – Getting ready for driver introductions.

5:02 – This year’s inductees to the Nashville Fairgrounds Raceway Hall of Fame are being introduced to the crowd right now.  Which reminds me, we’re just a couple of weeks away from the 2012 Georgia Racing Hall of Fame Inductee Banquet at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville, GA.  This year, the GRHOF will be inducting Pete Hamilton, Bill Ingram, Warren Johnson, Doug Kenimer, and Warren Johnson.  For ticket info, visit www.georgiaracinghof.com.

4:37 – Gonna take a few minutes to catch our breath, and sample some of the fine food here at Nashville.  Stay tuned, the All American 400 is cming up

4:33 – Day said he didn’t know Allen was outside coming to the flag.  It did appear that after the contact that Allen pushed Day’s car all the way to turn two.

The unofficial top five:
1. Mark Day
2. Willie Allen
3. Sterling Marlin
4. D.J. Shaw
5. Anderson Bowen

We’ll bring you any additional info as we get it.  For the full story, check Raceweek Illustrated later this weekend.

4:14 – Checkered Flag – Willie Allen stumbles coming to the white flag, Day to the lead.

Allen looks for daylight, the two make contact coming to the finish line and crash!

Day is pushed across the finish line by Allen for the win.  Both cars are totally demolished, left sitting between turns one and two.  Both are okay.  Holy cow, what a finish!!!

We’re heading trackside, will have more shortly.

4:11  – Green-White-Checkered – Allen will jump back out front, Day in pursuit.

4: 09 – Lap 120 – Caution, T.W. Fisher spins, collects Mike Pruitt in the process.  Both drive away.

4:09 – Five to go.  Allen is in his own zip code now.

4:06 – Ten to go, Allen continues to control the race.

4:05 – Lap 112 – The top five are spread out, with Allen moving away in the lead.

4:04 – Move Shaw to fourth, Bowen slips to fifth.

2. Mark Day
3. Anderson Bowen
4. Sterling Marlin
5. Casey Atwood

3:51 – Lap 100 – Tyler Audie and Justin Ashburn make contact off turn four, hard crash.

Officials throw the Red Flag, as Audie’s car appears to be losing water out of the front end.

Audie’s car is very used up.  Ashburn is also done for the day.  Both drivers appear to be okay.

3:50  – Lap 97 – Green Flag, Willie Allen spins the tires, but charges back to the inside.  Give Allen the lead, saw some minor contact from behind from Day.

3:48 – Not sure if O’Neill had any help spinning or not.  It’s easy to loop a care off of turn four here but he was pretty car down the straightaway when it took off.

3:45 – Lap 90 – Allen begins stalking Day with 35 laps to go.

Caution comes out as Jeffrey O’Neill spins on the frontstretch.  He keeps it off the wall and drives away.

3:44 – Lap 85, Allen gets the lane he needs, move him to second around Marlin.

Meanwhile, both Daniel Bolden and Mchale Bolden sit in the pits.  Both finally head for the garage area.  Not sure what the issues were.

3:43 – Lap 83 – Allen now looking for daylight around Marlin, hasn’t found it yet.

3:41 – Lap 79 – Day gives Bowen a shot on the back bumper, Bowen makes it a tight pass, but give Day the lead.  Marlin moves to second, Allen to third.

3:40 – Lap 76 – Mark Day gets a break from Marlin, moves to third, Allen to fourth, Shaw in fifth.

Day all over the back of Bowen looking for the lead.

3:40 – Lap 75 – Green Flag is out, Bowen jumps to the lead.

3:37 – If you’ve never been to this facility, you’ve got to make the trip.  This is a terrific track, and racing here is not to be missed!

3:33  – Break is over, PLM field is rolling again with 50 laps to decide it.

The top four cars will be inverted, so that puts Anderson Bowen out front, Sterling Marlin second, Mark Day third and Willie Allen fourth.  D.J. Shaw retains fifth place.

3:27 – Several cars took on right side tires.   We did not see if Day took on right sides or not.  Could be playing some strategy.

3:23 – Marlin’s crew goes under the hood, along with Mike Pruitt’s crew.

3:22  – Cars are on pit road, the 10 minute clock is running.

3:21 – Lap 75 – Competiton caution, crews have 10 minutes to make adjustments on their cars.

3:20 – Shaw settles into fifth, Atwood to sixth.

3:19 – Lap 68 – Allen passes day for the lead, Marlin around Bowen to retake third.

3:18 – Lap 67 – Green Flag – Mark Day to the point, Allen to second.

3:17 – Davey Coble gets the lucky dog.

3:12 – Lap 62 – Caution is out after Tyler Audie and Stacey Crain tangle on the backstretch.  Both are able to drive away.

4. Anderson Bowen
5. D.J. Shaw

3:07 – D.J. Shaw on the move, just passed Atwood for fifth.

3:06 – Dennis Reno slows, brings his car to the garage area with some sort of issue.  No problems on the track, we stay green.

3:04 –  Lap 37 – Day leads, followed by Allen, Marlin, Anderson Bowen, and Casey Atwood.

3:02 – Lap 31 – Day challenges low, Allen gets caught in lap traffic, Day is your new leader.

3:01 – Allen is in lap traffic, and Day is there.  Cue the “Jaws” theme.

3:00 – Ben Rowe and Tucker Wingo have been going at it for several laps for the seventh position.
Meanwhile, Mark Day continues to charge, moves past Marlin for second, sets sail for leader Allen on lap 26.

2:58 – Fight for 14th, as Jeff Letson leads a pack of eight cars all jockeying for position.  Welcome to Nashville!!!

2:56 – Day on the move, just passed Shaw for fifth, looks for Bowen.  Meanwhile the leaders stay in close contact with each other up front.

2:55 – Seeing some good racing a little further back, as Mark Day charges his way into sixth, and closes on Shaw for fifth.
