Austin McDaniel Scores Fifth Hickory Victory of 2012

Austin McDaniel has been tough to beat in Late Models this year at Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, NC. He showed why again Saturday night, as he topped the field to score his fifth Late Model feature win of 2012 at the legendary North Carolina short track.

Josh Wimbish came across the finish line in second, with Jesse LeFevers in third, Pietro Fittipaldi in fourth, and Trey Gibson in fifth.

In other action, Jeremy Pelfrey scored the victory in the Limited Late Model feature. Zachary Bruenger came home second, with Shane Lee in third, Sheflon Clay in fourth, and Roger Pitts II in fifth.

Kevin Eby came home first in the Street Stock feature, with Mike Newton, Marshall Sutton, Jason Stanley, and Samuel Thompson rounding out the top five.

In the four cylinder feature, Donnie Harmon crossed the finish line first to pick up the win. Todd Harrington finished second, with Nathaniel Kanupp in third, Donn Wardo in fourth, and Caleb Sisk in fifth.

Jason Byrd picked up the win in the Hobby Stock feature, followed by David Hasson, Ronald McNeill, and Cole Killian.

Ryan Krachum topped the field for the victory in the Ford Focus Midget feature. Nick Davidson ran second, with Tyler Corriher in third, Bryant Dawson in fourth, and Bradley Riethmeyer in fifth.
