NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series title contenders had a busy Week 18 of competition, as five of the top ten drivers posted wins, and the top four are now separated by just nine points. All but one of the Top 20 drivers was in action during Week 18, as the points continue to tighten up among them.
Mickey Trosclair of Luling, LA continues to lead the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series standings with 790 points after netting seven points with a fourth-place finish on Friday night at Hattiesburg Motorsports Park in Hattiesburg, MS. Trosclair now holds a five point lead over Chase Washington of Houlka, MS.

Barrett drove the Custom Spraying GRT to a seventh-place finish in the Week 16 make-up feature to net three points, and then finished fourth in the Week 18 night cap to net six points.
