Martin Scores Super Late Model Win At Talladega

A cold, windy night at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL did not keep Ross Martin from stinging the other drivers in the Kilpatrick Chevrolet Super Late Model division.

Martin started on the outside of the second row.  On lap seven Martin had worked his way to the front of the field and led the final twenty three laps to take the checkered flag.  Terry Smith came home second, with Tim Roszell in third.

In other action, Jeremy Shaw scored the feature win in Crate Late Models.  Jimmy Elkins came home second, with Adam Gauldin in third.

Joe Noojin topped the field for the third week in a row in the Sportsman division to take the win.  Dallas Cooper was second, with Josh Adkins third.

Destin Mince won the Open Wheel Modified featured, with  Kevin Wadell and Lakeetha Skinner finishing second and third, respectively.

Scott Magourik scored his third straight win in the 92.7 FM Thunder Car feature.  Zack Shelton was second, with Chris Yarbrough in third.

Nick Deweese won in the Farmers Insurance Street Stocks, with Ross May in second, and Jerry Wilkins in third.

Joshua McBride won the Dorsey’s Supermarket Hot Shots Trophy Dash, scored the win in the feature event.  Taylor Gowers finished second, with Chase McAvoy in third.
