David McCoy Makes It Four Straight At Toccoa Speedway

Going into Saturday night’s races at Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, GA, there was one question on everybody’s mind: Can anybody stop David McCoy?

The answer: nope.

McCoy continued his assault on the famed 5/16 clay oval by scoring his fourth straight Limited Late Model victory of the year.  McCoy outran Wesley English to score the victory.  Clayton Turner finished third, with Jimmy Ivester in fourth, and Doug English in fifth.

In other action, Greg Pilgrim picked up the win in the FASTRAK feature.  Ty Lowe trailed him at the drop of the checkered flag, follwed by “Hot Rod” LaMance, Eric McCraken, and Trent Feltman.

In the Hobby feature, Chad Sellers topped the field for the victory.  Daniel Fowler came home second, with Gerald Stanley in third, Nicholas Baxter in fourth, and Brent Russell in fifth.

Otis Murray was the man to beat in the Modified Street feature, as he beat Mark Wilbanks to the checkered flag.  Doug Sellers finished third, with Darrell Ivester fourth, and Howard Maxey fifth.

In the Stock 4 Cylinder feature, Justin Lord came home with the victory.  Mitchell Godfrey, Harley Holden, Jackie Holden, and Bobby Boshears rounding out the top five.

In the Rookie 4 Cylinder class, Jamie Massey picked up the feature victory, beating out Brandon Reed for the win.  Terry Reed finished third, with Michael Bennett in fourth, and Charles Cobb in fifth.

Jessie Thurmond scored the win in the Pure Stock V8 feature, with Wayne Chapman in second.

Joey Kelly beat all comers to win the Front Wheel Drive feature.  Jackie Holden, Robbie Cook, Tommy Davis, and B.J. Davis rounded out the top five.

Toccoa Speedway plays host to the Toccoa Tangle on Saturday night, April 14, featuring the USCS Outlaw Sprints and Southeastern Late Models.
