David McCoy held off a strong field to score Saturday night’s Limited Late Model feature victory at Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, GA.
McCoy had to beat contender Kenny Collins to take top honors. Clayton Turner finished third, with Jimmy Ivester finishing fourth and David Conley in fifth.
In other action, “Hot Rod” LaMance topped all comers to pick up the victory in the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature. Ty Lowe came home second, followd by Dale Timms in third, Kenny Collins in fourth, and Larry Timms in fifth.
In the Hobby feature, it was Bobby Hill across the finish line first, with Tyler Brown following up in second place. Allen Davis came across in third, with Michael Pace fourth and Daniel Fowler fifth.
In Modified Street action, Mark Wilbanks came away with the feature victory, beating out Josh Thurmond in second, with Otis Murry, Doug Sellers, and Chad Hoopaugh rounding out the top five.
It was a pair of Holdens that topped the scoring pylon at the end of the Stock 4 Cylinder feature, with Harley Holden scoring the win. Jackie Holden was right behind, finishing second. Justin Lord ran third, with Todd Wade in fourth, and Bobby Bosehars in fifth.
Wayne Chapman, Jr. scored the victory in the Stock 8 feature. Shane Gentry ran second, with Michael Buckley third, Derreck Burgess fourth, and Matthew Denton fifth.
Charles Cobb came home with the win in the Rookie 4 Cylinder feature. Austin Brumbelow, Terry Reed, Brandon Reed, and Michael Bennett rounded out the top five.
In the Front Wheel Drive feature, Trey Chapman crossed under the checkered flag first for the win. Jackie Holden finished second, with Wayne Chapman third, J.J. Williams fourth, and Robert Floyd in fifth.
Action returns to the famed 5/16 miles speedway on Saturday, March 24, with racing in the Limited Late Models, the FASTRAK Pro Late Models, the Hobby class, Modified Street, Pure Stock V8, Street Stock 4 Cylinder, Rookie 4 Cylinder, and Front Wheel Drive divisions.
