The holiday season is about giving and sharing.  Many in the ASA family are doing that this season.  Many are helping to spread the holiday cheer along with sharing their holiday wishes.  Here is a small glimpse of the 2011 ASA Racing Holiday season.

The holidays have long been known as the season of giving. Some ASA Member Tracks are doing that this season.

Havasu 95 Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Lake Havasu City, AZ, is showing their support for Toys for Tots for the third year.  They recently raised enough money to buy 111 bikes for the non-profit organization.  The most bikes they have provided so far.  In 2009, they purchased 50 bicycles and increased that in 2010 with 75 bikes and a handful of scooters and skateboards.

Norway Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Norway, MI, recently wrapped up their 2011 Toy/Food Drive.  The donations will put toys under the Christmas tree for under privileged children and food on the table for families during the holiday season.

Here is a sample of some of the holiday wishes from the ASA Family.  Thank you to all for contributing.

Barry Beggarly, 2011 ASA Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil Member Track National Champion, has a personal holiday wish.  “I would like wish my wife a quick recovery from the surgery she will be having after Christmas,” Beggarly said.

Andrew Morrissey, the 2011 ASA Midwest Tour Champion, has a wish that many racers would share with as well.  “I would like to have a successful 2012 season and build off what we did in 2011,” Morrissey said.  “The big wish really is end my winless streak in the ASA Midwest Tour and get some wins on top of the championship.”

Chrissy Wallace had a great season at Lebanon I-44 Speedway, an ASA Member Track in Missouri.   She not only became the first female to win a track championship at the famous facility, but she also won the ASA Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil Member Track West Championship.  She received an early gift, a new leather jacket from SpeedNetDirect.com.  Her wish is not surprising, “A full ride in the Truck or Nationwide Series is on my wish list,” Wallace said.

We asked followers of the ASA Racing Facebook page for their holiday wishes.
