Between the start of the Chase For The Sprint Cup, Indy cars in Japan, drag racing in Charlotte and great short track action all over, there’s a lot of action of all kinds for racing slated for this weekend.
Here’s a look at some of the great racing on tap for this weekend.
-Racing returns to Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia this Friday night, as the Volunteer Stars Super Late Model series returns, along with a slate of local racing action. For more information, visit www.boydsspeedway.net.

–New Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia host a full slate of racing on Saturday, Sept. 17, with action in the Mike Wheeler’s Automotive & Transmission Late Models, Crown Security Crate Late Models, Newnan Bonding B Cadets, Summit Racing Equipment Hobby Stocks and Mini Stocks. -The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series opens the Chase For the Sprint Cup this Sunday, as the tour travels to Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL for the Geico 400. The Camping World Truck Series makes is a Chicagoland triple-header, as they’ll compete today (Friday) in the Fast Five 225.
