If you had figured somebody would sweep last Saturday’s Super Six Series Pro Late Model double header at Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, Georgia, you would have just missed.
Kyle Plott had a shot at it, after winning the first 50 lap feature, but came up one position short as Dwayne Buggay captured the flag and the victory in the second feature.
In the opening feature, Plott put together the run he needed to record the win, beating out Brady Boswell, Tyler Edwards, Tyler Speer and Buggay.
Buggay would have the last laugh in the second feature, as he sprinted to the win over Plott, Tony Bennett, Dalton Grindle and Gus Dean.
Dawsonville, Georgia’s Spencer Davis piloted his Chevy Silverado to the victory in the Super Truck division, beating out Brandon Jones, Phillip Young, Kevin Shaw and Trevor Shirley.
In the Mini Stock/Junkyard Dawg division, it was Allen Cantrell topping the field, with Jeff Yancey, Dave Sherman, George Phillips and Brett Sheidy rounding out the top five.
In Bandolero action, it was Amber Fleeman picking up the Outlaw division win, followed by Alton Clark. Devon Barnes won in the Bandit division, with Chase Evans, Conner Younginer, Luke Sorrow and Katelyn Weatherly closing out the top five.
In Legends, R.S. Senter took the Pro win, with Phillip Young winning in the Master division, Michael Buckner taking the victory in the Semi-Pro category and Jami Weimer winning in Young-Lions.
